Donis B Hamilton

Donis B. Hamilton is a partner whose practice involves probate, real estate, worker’s compensation defense, business and commercial law, utility law, estate planning, and general business litigation. He has practiced law in Paragould since 1968 and tried hundreds of cases throughout Arkansas. He has been appointed as a special justice to the Arkansas Supreme Court on numerous occasions and is rated AV by Martindale Hubble which is the highest rating awarded to attorneys by their peers.
Donis was admitted to the Bar in 1968 and is also licensed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas, the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. He is the past president of the Greene/Clay County Bar Association, a member of the Arkansas Bar Association where he had served as member and chair of the Public Relations Committee, Legislation Committee, Death Penalty Resources Center Committee, Professional Ethics and Grievance Committee, and the Lawyer Advertising Committee. He was also a member of the Arkansas Bar Association Task Force on Code of Judicial Conduct. He is a fellow in the Arkansas Bar Foundation which he served as President in 2000-2001. He is an associate in the American Board of Trial Advocates where he is currently serving as Arkansas Chapter President. Donis is a past member of the Arkansas Supreme Court Committee on Jury Instructions (Civil), and is a current member of the Board of Directors of Arkansas Law Review, Inc. Donis received a Bachelor’s Degree from Arkansas Tech University in 1965 and Juris Doctorate from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville in 1968.
